SPRING IS IN THE AIR AT WOODFIELD
STUART LITTLE AND YOUR FAVORITE BUNNY ARRIVE
Schaumburg, Ill. (March 5, 2004) -- As the seasonal flora begins to bud, there are other sure -- albeit furry, signs that spring is in the air at Woodfield. The famed mouse of page and screen Stuart Little, along with Your Favorite Bunny arrive at Woodfield to greet shoppers and pose for family photos on March 9 through April 10, 2004, among the lush, floral landscape and topiary garden of the exclusive Stuart Little holiday display. On Saturday, March 20 at 11:00 a.m., a special Stuart Little Storytime will welcome the mouse of the hour with a reading of the classic E.B. White book.
Inside the center's Marshall Field's Court, the beauty of the fabled Central Park, a central location to the tale of Stuart Little, is recreated with giant colorful topiaries, Victorian street lamps and wrought iron fences surrounding a floral landscape lush with tulips, pansies, daisies and five kinds of trees. The story of Stuart Little follows the adventures of the Little family and their endearing son, who just happens to be a mouse. Based on E.B. White's 1945 best-seller, Stuart Little was also the #1 family film of 1999 and spawned a hit sequel, Stuart Little 2 in 2002. An animated television series based on the mouse's adventures premiered last year on HBO Family.
Families can visit and take photos with Your Favorite Bunny during all mall hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Woodfield will be closed on Sunday, April 11. A variety of Digital Imaging photo packages are available for purchase from $10.99 to $29.99. There is no obligation to purchase a photo as parents can bring their own cameras. Visitors to Your Favorite Bunny will receive a free Ty Teenie Beanie Bopper plush toy while supplies last.
Stuart Little will greet shoppers of all ages on Saturdays and Sundays only from 12:00 p.m. -- 5:00 p.m., March 13 through April 10.
Stuart Little Storytime will feature an interactive reading of the classic book by Auntie Net, who will encourage children to participate in the story telling. During the Storytime, families have the chance to win a free photo package with Your Favorite Bunny.
