It’s the New Year – time for “out with the old, in with the new.” Fashion is no exception. Every year we see some old favorites (along with a few looks we couldn’t wait to get rid of) replaced by new trends. This doesn’t mean you have to give up favorite wardrobe pieces, but a few carefully selected substitutions can go a long way toward updating your style for the New Year.

This is a great look for anything from a day of shopping to a casual day at the office. The long cardigan with the belt is a staple wardrobe piece that can be worn over a number of outfits. Dress it up by wearing it over a work dress or pencil skirt. Dress it down by wearing it over a long t-shirt, with leggings and flat boots. Mix and match different belt and pant combinations for an endless number of looks.
